Description
Two essential hammer faces are combined in one hammer that is ideal for small forging projects. The goldsmithing face is used for radial forging, which is the outward movement of metal in all directions, and planishing. The cross peen is used to stretch metal in one direction when forging. Unless this hammer is the final tool to touch the article being worked, there is no need to polish the faces. Surfaces can be refreshed periodically with 220 grit sandpaper. Handle is fashioned from rosewood.
